Most of the time, you know generally what you should start doing to reach your goals. The hardest part is staying accountable.
A lot of nutrition is mental/emotional and I will help you navigate any self-sabotaging behavior holding you back.
I am reasonable, encouraging and will tell you the truth. Don’t catch me caring more about your goals than you do. -
I use an app called Everfit to deliver your training program, have you submit your weekly check-in questions, and track your data. (syncs with apple heath + MyFitnessPal)
We chat in there as well between check-ins if you have any questions or want to send any form videos for me to give feedback on! -
For nutrition, I use macro based coaching - giving you targets to hit and you log in MyFitnessPal daily. Not forever, but to learn and understand more about the foods you are eating and work with you to create repeatable balanced meals (protein, carb, fat, fiber) that you can use as a template to feed you and your family for the majority of your healthy meals in a week.
Your strength training program will be custom to your goals, limitations and preferences/resources. At home, gym or hybrid of the two. You’ll send me a video of your gym so I know what we’re working with. -
On your check-in day each week (ie. Monday) you will submit:
fasted photos
fasted weight
weekly checkin form
I look at data like step count, scale weight, training performance, and fasted photos and take into account your subjective check-in form to adjust your plan week to week to progress at the rate we want.
I ask ~10 questions about your biofeedback like stress, sleep, digestion, training performance, and any deviations from the plan.
This is helpful for clients to self-reflect and make sure we can catch issues early. All I ask is you are honest and detailed I will never shame you or make you feel bad about yourself.
Within 24 hours, you will receive either a written or loom video response from me going over this past week and the plan/updates for the week ahead. -
Many of my clients travel for work or have very fun vacations, I will work with you to make your plan reasonable while keeping you on track.
I don’t allow “pausing” because I view these as valuable ways to integrate a fitness lifestyle - you can always do something.
